Our Client Reviews

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. It involves using a manual hand-held tool with tiny, fine-point needles to create hair-like strokes and deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin.
Microblading is always a two step process. Your initial Microblading appointment and your Follow Up.” Without the follow-up your microblading is incomplete! Your microblading annual touch-ups should occur every 1-3 years for regular maintenance. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare can affect the longevity of the results.
Discomfort levels during microblading can vary from person to person. Most clients report feeling little to no pain during the procedure, thanks to the numbing cream applied beforehand. Some may experience slight discomfort or a scratching sensation.
The entire microblading procedure usually takes around 2-3 hours. This includes the initial consultation, shaping the eyebrows, choosing the pigment color, numbing the area, and performing the microblading technique.
Microblading is generally suitable for most individuals. However, it may not be recommended for pregnant or nursing women, individuals with certain medical conditions, or those prone to keloid scarring. A consultation with a microblading artist is necessary to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure.
Before your microblading appointment, it is essential to avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and excessive sun exposure. Additionally, refrain from plucking or waxing your eyebrows for at least two weeks before the procedure.
The healing process typically takes 4-6 weeks. During this time, the treated area may appear darker and bolder. It is normal for scabbing and flaking to occur as the skin rejuvenates. It is crucial to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your microblading artist to ensure proper healing.
It is recommended to avoid wearing makeup on or around the treated area for at least ten days after the procedure to allow the skin to heal. Once the healing process is complete, you can resume wearing makeup as usual.
To maintain the results of your microbladed eyebrows, it is essential to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your microblading artist. This typically includes avoiding excessive sun exposure, using a gentle cleanser to wash the area, and applying a recommended aftercare ointment.
While microblading provides a defined shape and structure to your eyebrows, you can still groom and shape them by removing hair outside the microbladed area. However, it is recommended to consult with your microblading artist to ensure you maintain the desired shape and avoid removing any microbladed hair strokes.
